This research poster presents innovative extensions to standardized ecotoxicity testing methods, establishing advanced in vitro models for neurotoxicity assessment. The work provides three key improvements: transitioning from gill to brain cells for neurological endpoints, upgrading to high-throughput 96-well formats, and developing sophisticated 3D co-culture systems that better mimic real-world exposure scenarios.
